North Fire Lane / ADA
This project is a universal design, ADA access, and fire access improvement project.
The project includes the removal of the existing walkway and all known access barriers on the North Fire Lane. The project will install a new walkway that will double as a fire lane extending from the existing Student Services Building to the Police Station and Sequoia Building. The new pathway will meet local fire jurisdiction access needs. The areas on either side of the path will be developed to include learning environments and water mitigation/runoff beds. Additional campus identification and wayfinding will be provided, and the original water fountain will be replaced.
Construction is projected for completion in Fall 2021.
